ABSTRACT

‘Mukha’ plays very important role for individuals personality. Everyone wishes to have healthy, fair, attractive skin complexion. Pimples with Vedana, Kandu, Strava etc. in Ayurveda is called as ‘Mukhadushika’. ‘Yuvanpidaka’ is the synonym of Mukhadushika. Many drugs mentioned in Ayurveda are routinely used for Mukhadushika founds remarkable results. These drugs can be used singly or with combination. Also these formulations can be used internally and externally as for Mukhalep, for Abhyanga etc. For the present pilot study 10 patient were selected. For that vacha, lodhra, Yastimadhu were drug of study. These drugs were applied by preparing Shatadhauta ghruta and then their lepa. The SOP was assessed by subjectively and objectively found significant results.
