ABSTRACT
The inhibitory effect of flavonoids isolated from Xanthoceras Sorbifolia Bunge (FX) on lipase was studied. The results indicated that the inhibition rate of the flavonoids toward the activity of lipase presented non-linear changes with the concentrations. The inhibition rate was 75% with the flavonoids concentration 0.27 mg/mL. Lineweaver–Burk plots indicated that FX was a mixed-type inhibitor of lipase. The influence of FX on the native fluorescence properties of lipase was studied in the present work. The results showed that with the excitation wavelength 290 nm, lipase emit in the region of 300-500 nm. FX contributed to the protein structure loosens and inhibited lipase activity.
