Model can be created both to prevent and to treat disease. Ayurveda names three causes of disease prajnaparadh, Asatmeindriyarthsamyoga and parinam. Prajnaparadh (making negligent choices) includes, all those voluntary actions done against the natural laws to live healthy. In our study, We found that Diwaswapna Ratrijagran and vegvidharan are some common terms, we can read easily in Nidan of Diseases mentioned in Ayurvedic samhitas. In Ayurveda alike modern system of medicine, all most each and every disease related to bad life style (ahar-vihar). According to Ayurveda various disease are caused by suppression of natural urges (Veg Vidharan) as testified by Sushruta who has described 13-types of Udavarta Rogas. out of these 13 vegas, suppression of kshudha veg(suppression of urge to hunger) also should not be retained as others.controlling urge of kshidha may lead to impairment in both Sharirik and Mansik Doshas. If we do it often, this will result in serious complications like emaciation, General weakness, discolouration of body, bodyache, loss of taste, vertigo. Therefore, for living a normal healthy life, it is necessary that the needs of the natural urges are satisfied instantaneously.e. as soon as they are explicit. In this review article, attempts is made to explain various consequences of kshudha vega Dharana mentioned in Ayurvediv texts and also enlist the management of the complications occurred by suppressing the natural urge of kshudha vega(urge of hunger)
