ABSTRACT

A simple, precise, specific, and accurate reversed phase high performance liquid chromatographic (RP-HPLC) method for simultaneous estimation of Pantoprazole and Ondansetron in bulk and pharmaceutical dosage forms. The Chromatographic method separation of two drugs were analyzed by using ODS 3V 150mm x 4.6 mm, 5.column. The Mobile phase constituted of Buffer, Acetonitrile and methanol taken in the ratio 50B:40A:10M and pH adjusted to 3.0 with dilute Orthophosphoric acid was delivered at the flow rate 1.0 mL min-1. The UV- Detection was performed at 250 nm. The retention time of Pantoprazole and Ondansetron is 3.756 and 2.185 min. The percentage recovery of Pantoprazole and Ondansetron were found to be 100.10% and 100.18% respectively. The chromatographic method was validated for accuracy, precision and recovery studies. The percentage of RSD was found to be lower than 2% proves that the method is precise.

Keywords: Pantoprazole, Ondansetron, UV detector, Simultaneous estimation, RP-HPLC.
