MINIMAL INVASIVE TECHNIQUES IN THE MANAGEMENT OF ANO-RECTAL DISEASES

ABSTRACT

Ano-rectal diseases like Anal Fissures, Fistula-in-Ano, Haemorrhoids Anorectal Abscesses are very common in this society. Many surgical procedures are practiced for the management of Ano-rectal diseases. Those surgical procedures are Expensive, Requires Spinal anaesthesia, hospitalization and post-operative cares. There are some techniques like Self anal Dilatation, Anal Dilatation with Xylocaine jelly along with nifedipine, Injection therapy in Chronic fissure in Ano and Removal of Thrombus in Thrombosed external Haemorrhoids which are very effective, cheap, doesn’t requires hospitalization with minimal post-operative cares.
