Abstract

SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC METHOD FOR ESTIMATION OF TADALAFIL IN BULK AND TABLET DOSAGE FORM

ABSTRACT

UV spectroscopic method have been developed and validated for the determination of Tadalafil in bulk and tablet formulation. The λmax was found to be 284nm in methanol. Beer’s law was obeyed in the concentration range of 2-10μg/ml. Good accuracy (105%), precision (%RSD0.368), LOD (0.2012), LOQ (0.364) and linearity (0.999) were obtained. The result of analysis has been validated as per the ICH guidelines. The developed method is simple, selective and reproducible and can be used for routine of analysis of formulations containing Tadalafil.
