Abstract

MICROWAVE SYNTHESIS, CHARACTERISATION AND ANTICANCER ACTIVITY OF NOVEL 4-(3H)- QUINAZOLINONE DERIVATIVES AGAINST MCF7 CELL LINE

ABSTRACT

4-(3H)- Quinazolinone and their fused-ring systems are well known for their potential biological activity. In the present study a new Quinazolinone derivatives were synthesized. The newly synthesized compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, IR, Mass and NMR analyses. All newly synthesized compounds were screened for their anticancer studies. The results revealed that some of the synthesized compounds have a significant biological activity as anticancer agents.
