Abstract

A CLINICAL STUDY ON BHRINGRAJ OIL IN THE MANAGEMENT OF KHALITYA

ABSTRACT

Khalitya is Urdhavajatrugata roga Acharya Vagbhatt mentioned Nasya as a treatment of Urdhavajatrugata roga and it will be shodhan karma for strotas and also helptul to nourish the hair roots. Nasya is a nasal administration of medicated powder or liquid drops. Acharya Susruta says that the proper use of Nasya leads to the stoppage of hair fall, increases length and number of hair by preventing hair from being gray or white. In this clinical study patient was treated by nasya and it was very effective in khalitya.
