EFFECT OF CAPRO’S CAPRONORM CAPSULES IN CASES OF THYROID MALFUNCTION AND ASSOCIATED PROBLEMS - A CLINICAL STUDY

ABSTRACT

Introduction: In the modern world, lifestyle-related disorders have emerged as a major public health concern despite significant advances in healthcare. PCOS and thyroid dysfunction are common endocrine disorders associated with menstrual irregularities, ovulatory dysfunction, and reduced fertility. Materials And Methods: In this regard, Capronorm[1] Capsule- An Ayurvedic proprietary medicine is known for its efficiency in managing thyroid imbalance and its related health concerns like Irregular menstrual cycles, PMOS-Thyroid Dysfunction like symptoms on long run. Capronorm,[1] a poly-herbal drug formulation was subjected to clinical studies for its effect on correcting Thyroid imbalance and associated symptoms in the patient with such concerns. Discussion: Formulation plays a major role in correcting the pathology by Vataanulomana, Dhatwagnideepana,Srotoshodhana and Rasayana actions, essential in correcting the deranged metabolism due to Environmental and abrupt lifestyle choices. Result: The clinical study demonstrated statistically significant improvement in thyroid function–related symptoms and associated clinical outcomes, indicating the potential of Capronorm® as a supportive intervention for women's endocrine health.
