A FACILE SOLID PHASE MICROWAVE INDUCED SYNTHESIS AND ANTIFUNGAL ACTIVITY OF SOME SUBSTITUTED PYRAZOLINES-N1-CARBALDEHYDES.

ABSTRACT

A novel one pot formylation of substituted pyrazolines has been carried out using K2CO3 as solid phase catalyst under microwave irradiation. The solvent free reaction afforded title compounds in 80-90% yield with high purity. All synthesized compounds were tested for their antifungal activity using standard drug.
