A REVIEW ON: NANOTECHNOLOGY’S APPLICATION IN CANCER THERAPY
Komal D. Ghodake*, Namrata H. Kodag, Sanjay K. Bais
ABSTRACT With its unmatched potential to improve drug administration, increase treatment selectivity, and reduce systemic toxicity, nanotechnology has become an innovative cancer therapeutic strategy. This review looks at the application of nanoparticles in enhance the drug delivery methods for improved cancer therapeutic. Carcinoma immunotherapy, and the decrease of multidrug resistance. By synthesizing current research, this paper seeks to properly assess the major advancements in nanoparticle-based treatments. It will also draw attention to important gaps in the research, such as these technologies limited clinical application and long-term biocompatibility. With an emphasis on recent developments in nanotechnology, particularly its potential to enhance radiation and chemotherapy by utilizing synergistic effects, this study will assess research done over the past ten years. The study will also look at thechallenges that the area faces, like safety concerns and regulatory constraints, which prevent the wider application of nanotechnology in cancer. Nanotechnology can be used for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. Nanotechnology has promise for delivering drugs, DNA, and proteins specifically to tumor tissue, which would lessen cytotoxicity of chemotherapeutics drugs in non-cancerous tissue. A primary cause mortality in a globe cancer. Globally, a number of cancer-related deaths steadily increasing, with an estimated 12 million deaths from the disease expected by 2030.One of the 21st century's fastest-growing fields is nanotechnology. Numerous nano systems have been used in diagnosing and treating a variety of diseases. Keywords: Receptor-mediated drug delivery, Nanoparticles Carcinoma Treatment Cancer Targeting, Immunotherapy, Gold Nanostructures, Nanofabrication, Nanobiotechnology, Nanocarriers.
