A REVIEW ON NANOEMULSIONS: THE TINY TITANS OF THERAPEUTICS
Rahul S. Rathod*, Jitendra Shinde and Shreya S. Pawar
ABSTRACT Nanoemulsionsare novel drug del ivery systems made up of water andoil emulsions with droplet size ranging from 5 to 200 nm on average.Nanoemulsions come in three varieties: bicontinuous or multipleemulation, W/O, and O/W. The rate of absorption and bioavailabilityare increased by nan oemulsion, which also helps with flavor masking.Co surfactant, oil, and surfactant are the constituents ofnanoemulsions. The common methods that formulators have beenusing recently to create nanoemulsions as finished application productsfor cosmeceutic al usage are discussed in this review. The article alsoexplains a few theories , components, Characteristics and Identificationtest of nanoemulsions. Through this article we will get idea aboutapplications of Nanoemulsions Keywords: Nanoemulsion, Stabi lity, High P ressure homogenization, Microfluidization, Ultrasonication [Download Article] [Download Certifiate] |
