ABSTRACT

Ashokarishta is a traditional Ayurvedic formulation that has been used for centuries in the treatment of various health conditions, particularly those related to the female reproductive system. Composed of several herbs, with Saraca asoca (Ashoka tree) being its primary ingredient, Ashokarishta is widely recommended for its therapeutic properties, including its potential to balance hormones, regulate menstrual cycles, and alleviate various gynecological disorders. This manuscript aims to explore the pharmacological actions of Ashokarishta, its iochemical composition, therapeutic uses, and clinical evidence supporting its efficacy.
