CLINICAL MANAGEMENT OF DYSMENORRHEA AND INSOMNIA WITH HOMOEOPATHY IN A 22-YEAR-OLD FEMALE WITH EMOTIONAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL STRESS
Dr. Shridevi Siddineni* and Dr. Chitram Umashankar
ABSTRACT Background: The patient is a 22-year-old female experiencing worsening sleeplessness for the past 4 years and dysmenorrhea for 2 years. Her lower abdominal pain, intense during the first two days of menstruation, radiates to the lower back and is relieved by hot packs and dark chocolate. She has no medications for her condition. Her menstrual history includes heavy flow and milky leucorrhoea before menses. She has a past medical history of nasal polyps and tooth caries, as well as a significant family history of diabetes and hypertension. Emotional stress from her father’s stroke and illness has impacted her well-being, potentially worsening her dysmenorrhea and insomnia. She was treated with borax 200, followed by SL. After treatment, she felt completely relieved both mentally and physically. The remedy was selected through repertorial analysis. Keywords: homoeopathy, dysmenorrhea, insomnia, treatment, homoeopathy management. [Download Article] [Download Certifiate] |
