A REVIEW ON ROSEMARY & GINKGO BILOBA IN RECOVERY OF ALZHEIMER’S & PARKINSON’S DISORDER

ABSTRACT Millions of people around world suffer from various types of neurological disorders, it has a great impact on the health of living beings. The treatment of disorders has proved to be very expensive, and it takes a long duration of time to cure. On the other hand, medicinal plants which refer to those kinds of plants which have medicinal properties, many herbal medicines came into existence and proved to be very useful in treating neurological disorders because of their availability, acceptability, adaptability, compatibility, low prices, and minimum side effects. Herbal plants such as Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) and Ginkgo Biloba proved to be very useful just because of their antioxidants, anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective properties. These plants also show the great impact on neurological disorders such as Alzheimer's Disorder, Parkinson disorders, Dementia, etc., Now a days Alzheimer and Parkinson disorders have proved to be the most common neurodegenerative disorders that are found all over world. The chemical constituents of these plants are mostly found in the categories of glycosides which are a class of secondary metabolites.
