Abstract

FORMULATION AND EVALUATION OF HERBAL CRACK SOOTHING CREAM

ABSTRACT

Feet are very integral part of our body, so keeping them infectious free is very vital to health. The main motive of this formulation is to formulate and evaluate herbal crack soothing cream containing Alovera (Aloe Barbendis), Turmeric (Curcuma Longa),Rose water(Rosa Damascena), Coconut oil (Coco Nucifera), Sandalwood (Santalum album). Various ingredients having anti-inflammatory property were incorporated and microbial studies were carried out for the effectiveness of the gel. It was found that developed product is safe and effective against cracked heels without any side effect. The effectiveness of the gel was seen on volunteers cracked heel by applying for 15 days.
