ABSTRACT

Lantana camara, commonly known as Lantana, is a flowering plant in the verbenaceae family. It is a tropical and subtropical region. Lantana camara has been traditionally used in herbal medicines. The review of Lantana camara, including is phytochemical constituents, traditional uses and formulations. Various formulations such as Cream, Ointment, Gel, Emulgel, Nano- emulsion, Candies, Powder, Nano-suspension, Oil, Transdermal patches, Oral suspension, Microspheres, Capsule and Topical application have been developed using Lantana camara.
