ABSTRACT Ayurveda had mentioned the inter connectedness of Humans and theenvironment through Loka Purusha sameta in various texts which canexplain the Ecopharmacovigilance. The use of pharmaceuticalproducts such as rasa aushadies is constantly on the rise in India and soare the emissions and pollution resulting from drug preparation.Therefore there is a need to focus on this issue which is in its earlybudding stage. This article provide information about the Objectives:1. To review the current practices and regulations related toincineration of Rasaushadhies. 2. To identify the key pollutants, toexplore alternative technologies, methods and strategies. 3. To discussthe challenges in managing incineration emissions fromRasaushadhies, including technical, economic, and regulatory hurdles.4. To highlight the need for further research, education, and policyinitiatives to address the environmental impacts of Rasaushadhies. Byintegrating eco-pharmacovigilance into pharmaceutical practices ofRasaushadhies, we can reduce the environmental impact of medicinesand promote a healthier environment.
