P. Phanindra*, Dr. Vijaya Kuchana, G. Mounika, G. Vishnuvardan, G. Sahithya, G. Venkata Chinna Reddy and G. Ganesh
ABSTRACT The Nanoemulsion-based system is reasonably a new means of enhancing drug delivery; Nanoemulsions are sub-micron size particles roughly in the size range of 10-1000 nm. The preparation of nanoemulsions can be achieved through both high and low energy methods, such as high-pressure homogenization, ultrasonication, phase inversion temperature, and emulsion inversion point technique. This review aims to provide consolidated information regarding various formulation and characterization techniques developed for nanoemulsions. The study comprehensively analyses the preparation methods, composition, characterization, and stability and their application in drug delivery via various routes. Keywords: Nanoemulsion, Drug delivery system, Methods, Applications. [Download Article] [Download Certifiate] |
