Atul Kumar Verma, Arun Kumar*, Shourya Pratap, Dr. Amresh Gupta, Shivam Kumar
ABSTRACT Plant-based medicine continues to be a prominent part of the healthcare system, with about 80% of people worldwide receiving primary care from these approaches. In the field of medical plant research, there are already about 25% of drugs as well as various synthetic analogs that are created from prototype molecules found in medicinal plants. About 1,300 species of the genus Croton, which is extensively spread in tropical regions of both the Old and New Worlds, are members of the Euphorbiaceae family. Many types of medicinal plants have been used traditionally throughout South America, Africa, and Asia. Croton bonplandianum L. (Euphorbiaceae) is widely used in traditional medicine to treat a wide range of ailments, such as infectious diseases, increased cholesterol, hypertension, cutaneous injuries, vomiting, diarrhea, and yellowing of the skin. Traditional medicine makes extensive use of the plant's parts to treat a wide range tests. We gathered extensive data on the taxonomy, publications, transport, shape, studies on the pharmacological characteristics, phytochemistry, and traditional use of the Crotonbonplandianum plant in order to conduct this investigation. Keywords: Croton Bonplandianus, Phytochemical, bioactive compound, pharmacology, Anti-Oxidant Activity. [Download Article] [Download Certifiate] |
