Abstract

A CASE STUDY: IMPACT OF COVID-19 IN INDIA

ABSTRACT

The first symptomatic infected individuals of corona virus (Covid‐19) was confirmed in December 2019 in the city of Wuhan, China. In India, the first reported case of Covid‐19 was confirmed on 30 January 2020 has spread to so many countries across the world. The word “Corona” represents the appearance of crown like-spike proteins[1] on its outer surface. As of May 8th, 2020, in India, 56,342 positive cases have been reported. India, with a population of more than 1.34 billion—the second largest population in the world—will have difficulty in controlling the transmission of severe acute respiratory Syndrome corona virus 2 among its population. The Corona virus outbreaks is disrupting the Indian economy adversely due to lockdown,
and focused on to setting up a new structural reform and invest on infrastructure projects to relive out by COVID-19 impact.[2] The current study aim to aware Indians about COVID-19 pandemic and take some safety measures in order to control the spread and transmission of virus in Indian geographical regions.
