FORMULATION & EVALUATION OF HERBAL FACE PACK

ABSTRACT

In market so many herbal preparations are available like, Herbal face pack, Herbal Shampoo, Herbal Lipsticks etc. The main aim of current manuscript is to formulate and evaluate a herbal face pack for glowing skin by using natural ingredients. With the variable concentrations, four different formulations containing ingredients such as Multani mitti, Turmeric, Aloe vera, Sandal wood, Orange peel, Neem and Nutmug; were prepared preparation named as ASC-1, ASC-2, ASC-3 and ASC-4. All prepared formulations were evaluated by different parameters like organoleptic properties and physico-chemical parameters and stability along with irritancy test and microbial load. Among all formulation, ASC-2 was found to be good in physical parameters, free from skin irritation and maintained its consistency even after stability storage conditions and also having microbiologicalstability.
