ABSTRACT

Medicinal plants are essential for human health. They have been frequently used in traditional medicinal systems throughout since ancient times. They are a great source of natural compounds and are used in pharmaceutical research initiatives. In modern pharmacology, several plant-based drugs that have been utilized for thousands of years are being used. Medicinal plants still have potential, nevertheless, since many species remain unexplored or require further investigation into their molecular makeup and biological traits. Thus, the primary emphasis of the current work is a review of Acacia catechu.
