ABSTRACT

Ardit roga is one of the challenging in now a days and very commonly seen in young age group also, due to improper diet and vitiation of doshas. Shiro Pichu is one of the choice of treatment in Ardit roga. In modern science Ardit may be correlated with facial palsy involving weakness of cranial nerve or facial nerve. Shiro Pichu is the application of medicated oil on the shir Pradesh, it is effective ayurvedic karma advised in many conditions such as, in psycosomstic illness, scalp treatment, burning of eyes, premature greying of hairs, Nerve disorders etc. Murdhni taila (Shiro Pichu) has relaxing effect on the brain & whole Nervous system & Hence relives stress to a great extent, & improves supply of blood and nutrition to the brain & thus increases its working compliance.
