AYURVEDIC APPROACH OF GARBHA SAMBHAVA SAMAGRI A REVIEW

ABSTRACT

Ayurveda is one of the most ancient healthcare systems in the world. Ayurveda science focuses towards the promotion of general health by preventing and treating pathological conditions. In Ayurveda matter related to the conception of Garbhotpatti and Garbha is described systematically. Acharyas have explained four important factors as Garbha Sambhav Samagri that is Ritu (Fertile period), Kshetra (Uterus), Ambu (ahara rasa nutrient), Beeja- (shukra and aartava -sperm and ovum). These factors are very essential for conceive healthy Pregnancy. Pregnancy is the most important and critical part of every woman’s life. Infertility may occur if there is any abnormality in Garbha Sambhav Samagri. So for the benefits of society and nation the study of normal and abnormal feature of ‘Garbha sambhav Samagri’ will help. This article will help to creat awareness among the people and to understand basic causes of infertility.
