Abstract

LITERARY REVIEW OF GARBHSTHAPAN MAHAKASHAYA

ABSTRACT

Charaka, Vagbhata, kashyapa explained about prajasthapana mahakashaya. Vagbhata has indicated use of prajasthapana drugs after punsawana karma in sutrasthana. Indu say that these drugs prevent abortion. Kashyapa has advised these to be used as routine by pregnant women. Routine use of these drugs might be beneficial for maintenance of proper health, growth and development of mother and fetus respectively, with this idea the drugs are being explain here.[1]
