Abstract

POTENTIOMETRIC STUDIES OF P-AMINO BENZOIC ACID WITH TRANSITION METAL IONS

ABSTRACT

The aim of our study is to investigate the complexation tendency and stability values of transition metal ions with 4-amino benzoic acid in aqueous media at room temperature using simple technique of potentiometry.1N NaNO3 used to maintain ionic strength. The stability constants were evaluated by computer programme.1:1 and 1:2 complexes were reported. Order of stability was compared and found to follow Irving William natural order.
