ABSTRACT

There are innumerable formulations mentioned in the classics of Rasashastra which are yet to be explored and effectively utilized. Rajarajeshwari Rasa is one such unique formulation mentioned in Rasendra Sara Sangraha in Kushtadhikara chapter indicated in all types of Kushta. All the skin diseases in Ayurveda have been discussed under the broad heading of Kushta. It is indicated in Sarva Kustha. It contains Kajjali, Tamra Bhasma, Shuddha Haratala, Triphala Churna, Bakuchi Churna, Khadira Churna, Guduchi Sattwa and Bhringaraja Swarasa for Bhavana. Almost all the ingredients of Rajarajeshwari Rasa have Kushtagna properties and not many pharmaceutical industries manufacture Rajarajeshwari Rasa and in it is not available in the market. Now days society is more conscious about external beauty compare to internal beauty and also some professional fields they require good looking and charming beauty. Usually 10-15% cases present before general practitioners are pertaining to skin diseases.
