ABSTRACT
This study was conducted to examine the prevalence of infections by the Human Papilloma virus in the Lebanese population. The interest by this virus returns to its power to cause cervical cancer. To realize our work, several tests have been done on different samples that belong to hundreds of Lebanese men and women. These infections remained constant in recent years (2010ïƒ 2014), with a high prevalence especially for high risk types. This stability returns to several reasons and may result in an increased rate of cervical cancer in Lebanon.
Keywords: Human papillomavirus (HPV), Cervical Cancer.
