CLINICAL STUDY ON BHAGANDARA USING PRATISARNIYA KSHARA AFTER FISTULOTOMY

ABSTRACT

Anorectal disease cause great discomfort making one‟s life miserable, Bhagandara is one of them. For the anorectal diseases approximately all acharyas described ksharasutra technique. Meanwhile author have also mentioned Chhedan, Bhedana and Kshara karma for the treatment of diseases. Acharya Sushruta had given treatment of Bhagandara in scientific manner (preoperative, operative, postoperative). After fistulotomy, Pratisarniya kshara application in fisulous track will give excellent result to treat the diseases on the basis of properties of ingredient of Pratisarniya kshara. In these clinical study 30 number of patient taken. The patient of bhagandara (in low anal fistula) treated with pratisarniya kshara after fistulotomy and assessed on the basis of closed observation of diseases and patients. After research the result were drawn that all symptom pain, discharge, itching are reduce and lead complete healing of track.
