Abstract

CLINICAL STUDY OF UTI PATIENT

ABSTRACT

The research includes study the factor related to urinary tract infection) UTI ( of (370) child who are suspected to have U.T.I., their ages ranged between one month to 13 years, from the patients of Al- Khansaa hospital in Mosul during the period between 21/12/2017- 1/3/2018. The disease was diagnosed through the results of G.U.E. and record information about them to determine sex of patients, the parents health condition that concerned with the disease, ages, locality, symptoms of the disease, number of patients who are out patient and in patient who visits the hospital (male and female ),and their total number. The percentage of bacterial pathogens from the results of urine culture for (832) patient, the result showed that E.coli is the most common bacteria that cause UTI followed by Staph. aureus, Klebsiella. The study also included study of some of the biochemical variables related to the function of the kidney in the serum of (75)children infected with UTI, result showed elevated levels of urea, creatinine and glucose compared to control group.
